Standing on the 1st tee, the view of the opening hole at St George’s Hill certainly whets the appetite for what is to come. The hole has two new bunkers on the left extending into the fairway at driving distance. Your drive still needs to avoid the hidden bunker short right. A good drive will leave a mid/short iron into the completely new green above you.However, be aware that the second shot plays at least one club more than the yardage suggests. The green is well guarded by the two bunkers set into the hill short right, the well contoured run off areas down the left and several humps and hollows on the right.
