ENGLAND INTERNATIONAL
Angus Flanagan
Angus joined St George’s Hill in 2011, having had a golf club in his hand since the age of four. He joined the Surrey Rookie Tour almost immediately and showed his competitive spirit early on, even making it to the semi finals of the Surrey under 18 scratch matchplay championship at the age of 13! In his last year on the Rookie Tour, he won seven events and won the Order of Merit for both gross and net, a feat that has never been matched. He has been a regular member of the Surrey County squads at all age groups and has been in the full squad since 2016.
Angus was selected for the England Boys Development squad and made his under 16 England debut against Wales in 2015. In 2016, Angus won the Carris Trophy, The England Boys Under 18 Championship at Hunstanton, following this he was unbeaten in the England win at the Home Internationals played at Ballyliffin in Northern Ireland. He finished the year as the runner up in England Boys Order of Merit. In 2017, Angus represented England at the European Championships, played at La Manga.
In the same year, he was awarded a scholarship at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, where he is majoring in Business and Marketing. Angus has been consistently the number one player for the College and his success in the UK has continued in the United States. After a number of strong finishes in regular College events, Angus won The Big Ten Championship, played at the Philadelphia Cricket Club in spring of 2019.
Angus had a good summer season in the UK, with great performances in the Links Trophy at St Andrews and the Amateur Championship at Portmarnock along with being the leading qualifier at the Open Championship qualifying at Burhill.
In the autumn semester of the US College golf season, Angus had a number of top ten finishes, including a win at the MacDonald Cup event at Yale Golf Club. His stroke average of 69.33 for the season was among the best in the US and earned him a place representing England in the Jones Cup in Feb 2020. Angus is now ranked 29 in US College golf, he is easily in the top 100 of the World Rankings, he finished the 2019/20 College season being included in both the Ping and Golf Week All American awards and becoming the first Double All American at his University since 2005. Following on from this he has been selected to play in the International team at the Palmer Cup at Bay Hill in December 2020.

EUROPEAN TOUR
James Morrison
James Morrison captured his first European Tour title at the 2010 Madeira Islands Open, having graduated from the Challenge Tour the previous year. Won his second title in 2015 at the Open de España.
Took an unusual route to the top of European golf, not seriously playing the game until he was 16 as a Junior member at St George’s Hill G.C where he remains a member to this day.
Until that point he had focused on cricket, playing in the same England youth teams as Alastair Cook, Ravi Bopara and Tim Bresnan, but went from an 18 handicap to scratch in less than a year and earned a golf scholarship to the University of South Carolina.
Returned home to play first on the EuroPro Tour and then the European Challenge Tour, having turned professional after the 2006 Qualifying School.
